General Council meeting of the Federation
The General Council of the Federation of Trade Unions' SINDLEX "on January 5 met in Plenary, with the agenda several issues related to the observance of social-economic rights of employees in the public order and security of citizens and the educational system, trade union members.
2016 was a year consistently syndicalist approach and advancement of amendments and claims amending labor legislation, which in the end it was spicy with a bitter taste in terms of increasing the retirement age of men and women, reaching the age of 63/63 years and a contribution period of 34 years for both genders.
It also unanimously voted by the decision of the General Council of 05 January 2017, the Federation of Trade Unions "SINDLEX" was solidarity with the decision of the Executive Bureau of the Trade Union Federation of Education in order to protest wage increase for employees in education, granting the right and obligation to support this initiative by union members of the Syndicate "FUTURE" in the Federation "SINDLEX".
Other issues related to trade union objectives were discussed in the light of the intensification of trade union activities in all segments hierarchy to strengthen and mobilize all union members to defend labor rights and not allow the adoption of laws that would worsen conditions and safeguards employees', preventing the adoption of a new Labour Code only favorable for employers, other initiatives that can have a negative impact on working conditions and so unfriendly and unprotected.
